The
Sunshine Doll & Teddy Bear Shop was
established
in 1995. Originally, the shop was known for
carrying hundreds of Artist Bears and
Steiff
Reproductions and beautiful Artist Dolls.
I started to collect Antique and Vintage
pieces
so the shop slowly became a haven for all
types of old and new fellows. I select each
Artist Bear with care and attention to
workmanship
and expression. Always hoping to find the
right person for each Teddy and Friend.....
Searching for Antique and Vintage bears and
animals became more challenging. The
expression
is almost always right because these
animals
possess history and each one has been on a
special journey all its own. Making sure
that
each piece acquired is clean, still well
preserved
and charming is the essence of the on-going
search. I remember the first piece I
acquired
personally - that Teddy still resides with
us along with a few other pals. Since that
time I have been able to find many
wonderful
additions which have ultimately been
selected
by other families and some still remain
here
at home. My wish is that every new addition
to all collector's bring the same joy and
satisfaction I have found in each and every
search and attainment.
